Reviews of Love in the Paint!

This book had me in its clutches from the very start. It's a college romance with a hint of dark themes to add flare to the plot, which had emotions all over the place in the best kind of way, leaving you wanting more. There's no epilogue like traditional romance movies, which I lowkey loved as the typical wedding or pregnancy announcements in the epilogue all the time give me the ick. So, the fact this book didn't have one of those endings brought me joy, while also leaving me to question what'll be in stock for the next book. - Jade

Wholesome little romance story that has some dark and emotional tones. Throughout the book, we are introduced to many characters and the author has gone into depth with their characteristics and personalities.
I loved all the little Aussie jokes, mentions, and callbacks. Gave me a bit of a chuckle. I think if you are wanting a cute spring/fall book to read, depending on where you live, this is a book you might enjoy.
Just remember to check the trigger warnings before reading as there are some heavy topics throughout. - Kay

This book had me hooked from the first page and didn't wanna let me go until the last! The characters are full of personality- shoutout to Annie! I especially loved the basketball game scenes- they were so vivid, I felt like I was sitting in the crowd. The story balanced humour, emotion and action (both in and out of the bedroom) so well - I cried, I laughed, I stressed, and I couldn't put it down. The camaraderie within Scarlett's team gives found family vibes, the tension between her and the MMC is delicious, and the heart of it all really shone through.
I'm completely invested in these characters now and can't wait to see what L.M London has in store for the next book in the series! - Sarah

I found Love in the Paint to be an absolute page-turner. I took a little while to start it after I got it and I am so glad I did. I needed the time to simply delve into it without to many distractions because I didn't want to put it down. A college sports romance that's packed with drama (got to love college life π

The journey is a rollercoaster of betrayal and forgiveness, and I loved how the story evolves both on and off the court. If you love a story with amazing chemistry, this is a must-add to your TBR list. I've already suggested it to so many people!! - Em
